Fizzle! ME??? Why I never...

Ok, so yeah. I probably picked the wrong time to start a blog, as following my first post, we bought our first official home and relocated!!! IF I had decided to write during this time, you would have found me at a very interesting, roller-coaster of a time. ALAS, my big, romantic vision of blogging was momentarily blocked with another romantic vision of a home, decorated impeccably, in a beautiful neighborhood, footsteps from school. Ah, the bliss.

Previously, we had lived in a get-on-your feet kind of a place. Dumpy neighborhood. Shifty neighbors. Rocky driveway that lead to a street where drivers chose to zoom at about 50mph, despite the occasional child riding a bike. Yeah, I know. I seriously didn't want the kids playing outside much, unless I was with them.

Now, we have entered a dream-land of sorts. Cul-de-sac. Trusting neighbors that bring cookies to to welcome you to town. Yes, "The American Dream".

Uh oh. I'm not sure I like the whole idea of "The American Dream". There's something cynical behind it. Something unhealthy, living behind a wholesome- enough looking disguise. Yes, it promotes, materialism, greed and debt. Things I would like to change about myself in-particular, and things we need to change as a culture!

Despite all of that beezwax, I am still happy with our new home. THIS, is where we are chosing to live, create lasting memories, raise our rugrats. THIS IS HOME! Ah, wonderful!

My First Attempt

Hello World of Blogging-ness!

For someone who always has something to say, I must admit that my mind is BLANK! I'm completely intimidated by my own blog. I want to be clever, witty. Make you cry, then laugh so hard milk comes out of your nose as you pee your pants!

Maybe I'm aiming a little high here...

I'm hoping this romantic vision of me, sipping coffee, in my comfies, in front of the laptop, with a pair of smart glasses, doesn't fizzle. (Okay, minus the whole "glasses" part, since I don't need them...)

On that note, I enter the atmosphere of blog land!!! How exciting!!!!!!!!
